Who are we?
Vermut Bar Cardiff was opened in 2020 by our small, family run parent company, Aberystwyth based Ultracomida. The inspiration that drove to the opening of such a niche venue was to bring the magic of Andalucian style street bars to the cosy streets of Cardiff, and to introduce the Welsh public to the enormous variety of Spanish Vermouths, Sherries, Montilla wines and more.
Now run by a small team of 3, Felix, Sykes, and Cat, Vermut has grown from little more than a booze filled cupboard, to a bustling hotspot for not only our host of regulars, but people from all over the UK and beyond. Hosting live music, tasting events, private hires, indie collaborations and more. We are proud of the wonderful place that Vermut has become and the awesome crowd we get through our doors.
